Datasheet: LZC Series Pipe Enclosed Measurement and Control Protector

The LZC series provides surge protection for 2 or 3 wire 24 volt circuits, such as 2 or 3 wire 4-20 mA 24 V loops, or 24 V contact closures. The LZC series is housed in ANSI 316L stainless steel for use in corrosive environments. The pipe mounted arrangement makes is particularly convenient for field transmitters. It is available in both single-ended and double-ended versions. The 2 wire double-ended version (shown) is placed in series with the signal loop. A single ended version, with all wires coming out one end (the other end is capped) is available for use on dual port transmitters. In this case, the surge protector is screwed into the second port and all wiring is accomplished within the transmitter housing.
